This policy explains what data may.tools and its tool subdomains (svg.may.tools, voice.may.tools, rental.may.tools, schulte.may.tools, mahjong.may.tools, books.may.tools, cars.may.tools, ts.may.tools, json.may.tools, send.may.tools, tpl.may.tools) collect, and why.

The short version

  • The tools run in your browser — what you type into them never leaves your device.
  • There are no accounts and we collect no personal data.
  • We use Microsoft Clarity for anonymous usage analytics; you can block it via your browser settings.

Data you process with the tools

All tools on may.tools do their work locally in your browser. Documents you paste, files you open, and hands you practice with are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. When you close the tab, that data is gone.

Local storage

Some tools save your progress — for example, mahjong practice statistics — in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and can be removed at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics: Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used — anonymously. Clarity collects interaction data such as pages visited, clicks, scroll depth and roughly where you tapped, and uses it to produce aggregate statistics, heatmaps and session recordings. It may set cookies or similar technologies, and may process your IP address, browser type, device information and referring pages. These recordings are masked and not used to identify you.

This data is processed by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you prefer not to be tracked, blocking cookies or third-party scripts in your browser settings disables Clarity on this site — every tool keeps working without it.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical information (such as IP address, browser user agent and request times) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, in accordance with the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not access or analyze these logs to profile visitors.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or share your personal data — we don’t have any.
  • We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We don’t require accounts, and the site is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and the page at may.tools/privacy/.
